With an
interdisciplinary team of six permanent employees IGLux offers competent
services in research and development, consultation and planning and also in the
practical application and carrying out of projects in the following areas:
The engineering company
IGL Luxemburg (IGLux S.à r.l.) was founded in
1989 by the partners
of IGW Thomas Turk and Klaus Fricke. This came about as a consequence of the
Luxemburg Ministry for the Environment’s project to research the separated collection and composting of organic
waste in the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg. IGLux successfully completed this project
and in doing so opened the door for further separated collection projects in
Luxemburg.
Since then IGLux
has developed into an independent consultancy and servicing business in the
areas of waste management, biomasses and public relations
work.
Professor Dr. Klaus
Fricke withdrew from the company because of his appointment to the TU
Braunschweig (Brunswick) in 1999. The
long-standing office manager Klaus Groell succeeded him as managing
director.
