IGW is a leader in MBT. The concept MBT is inextricably linked to IGW, since our whole research and planning team was heavily involved in the development of mechanical and biological waste treatment. Various processes were examined  and developed during several research projects and dissertations by our staff; maturation criteria for the residual materials were defined and fundamental framework conditions for used air management were determined. Our engineers are very familiar with the processes and machinery for:

• mechanical waste preparation:
  shredding, sieving, wind sifting, special separating machinery such as ballistic and near infrared separation.
• biological treatment :
  various fermentation processes, percolation, composting procedures in tunnels, boxes and windrows .
